Ally Swift is nearing her forties and trying her goal at becoming a successful Paranormal author especially since a year ago her husband at the time left her for another woman who left Ally a total sobbing mess. She decided that after her husband leaving her, she was going to take back her life and become adventurous. What she didn't expect was her mind to be opened wide in a whole new way. It started with a text from her best friend Cassie and ended up with Ally being told she has to partake in a fight with the current queen of a Vampire hive and she has two options - to win or die. Ally has been chosen and is the last hope for 100 years of the Vampire Hive getting a new Queen. She also has five guys that she must sleep with and at the end of the week, choose only one, and the other four will be put to death. Ally doesn't want anyone to die and how can she choose as she's starting to fall in love with all five of them ? Now with only one week to go - Ally must train and fight and come up with a plan to defeat the current Queen Terra or everyone she cares and loves will perish. As an author of Paranormal and Supernatural Romance, Ally will have to put her writer's cap on and think about how she would write this scene in order to survive. Harem of Fangs definitely had it's erotic scenes as well as moments of Vampires and Werewolves. A few years ago, I went off these types of books but I think because it had the erotic scenes and reverse harem on top of the Vampires, I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. If you love Reverse Harem , Erotica and Vampires then Harem of Fangs is the trifecta just for you. The only downside for me was the character’s name as for some reason whenever I read her name, all I could think about was Taylor Swift – the singer.

4.5 starsFinally!! A strong kick ass heroine ya'll! Ally is my kind of girl. Straight forward, strong, doesn't back down, stands up and defends herself! Plus she's 38, knows what she wants, and isn't afraid to demand it from the Hero's. One of the first scenes we get is Ally thanking her cheating ex for cheating on her because she's now living her dream - no woe is me for this girl! Second major scene has her kneeing a guy who told her to suck his dick in the balls! The Hero's were great too! All strong in their own right and I can forgive Spartan for his assholish behavior in the beginning because he was protecting his family. Was it right what he did? Nope..but I do understand. I also really liked how Ally handled the "four previous" women to come before her this 100 year cycle. It was in my mind and I was wondering if it were to ever be addressed - its a big elephant in the room. I'm glad to say it was, Ally was justified in her initial reaction, and the guys were vindicated. However, I can't give it 5 stars because for a while it leaned very heavily on sex. She was making connections with each of the guys but each sex scene took up 1 - 2 chapters for EACH GUY so it got to be overkill a little. Once the sex was done the real story was able to develop and underneath all the sex it was a good story."Why would you bring us an old hag, Malcom? She has to be almost 40. What use does she have left?I glared up at her, my mouth filter not catching up with my brain. "Who would put a child on a golden throne and thing her capable of anything other than saying stupid shit?""Ball-smashed Malcom, yes" I nodded. Spartan lifted his eyebrows."Ball-smashed?""I smashed his balls when he tried to tell me I had to suck them. It seemed like an appropriate punishment"

Reviewed by [email protected] Stars Reviews Ally is kidnapped by vampires and told she must fight their Queen if she wants to save herself, and the five men who are connected to her. Things get more complicated as she learns she has feelings for them, and she has no idea how to kill this vampire Queen and become one herself. This was a very short book, with not a whole lot of story to it, but it was still interesting. It wasn't exactly great, but it wasn't bad either. I liked it, but I was annoyed that there wasn't more to it. Other than that I thought the plot was interesting, and I do enjoy reading more in this series, I just hope there will be a little bit more to the story.

I really like this book. Ally isn't afraid to be herself, and she knows who she is. Her 'fist' is a really great group of guys. Each has their own strengths and gifts. I loved the way they could laugh and be silly as well as serious when needed. I really hope we get another story with Ally and her men, not just seeing glimpses of them through the other girls stories. This is a completely new, to me, way of looking at vampires. I love it when an author can surprise me. I will definitely be checking out the next book. Wonder how she can twist weres?

ARC Provided by Author in Exchange For An Honest ReviewFirstly, I can't resist saying that the cover's girl reminds me of Taylor Swift in her “Love Story” video 😂...Ally Swift goes to help her friend .... she finds herself thrust into a world... of vampires, magic, and mind-blowing sex that she could never have dreamed was possible. .... five powerful vampires (Preacher, Wick, Celt, King and Spartan)....and....She is the key to their survivalCan she find a way to save them all? What I didn't LikeFirstly, in the first pages of the book, the heroine faints. Why can't the authors stop this? They make feel weird because I've never fainted and every female character does.Let's talk about Ally, in the first chapter she states that she's not interested in men because her ex-husband cheated on her, but she proposes someone who she just met to have a bath and do o t h e r things together, yeah sure...Then, she finds a chained werewolf in a room, deduces -out of nowhere- that it was put there by the queen and she gets angry at her. What if that werewolf has murdered someone or has done terrible things?"She shouldn't have chained him up,"And why is that?? You know nothing about it!!!And let's not forget she changes her mind a LOT.What I LikedThe first part of the book was a disaster for me and made me hate the heroine, but surprisingly, when I was going to DNF it, the book changed! Surprise! The heroine took a turn for the better and started improving. But even then, I didn't feel any connection between her and the guys. There were a lot of hot scenes (some with fangs involved, everything with fangs involved is super hot), and for me, they were the best thing about the book.I liked the names of the men, they're unusual. At the end, my only interest was to see Spartan happy, oh Spartan *dreamy eyes*ExtraThis book should enter in the erotica genre. It's like a Dixie Lynn Dwyer book without all the refusal from the heroine and with no connection between the characters.I don't know if I'm gonna read the second one, but it's not my priority right now.

Let's be real and toss out the idea that anything in this book is suppose to make sense. Alright! Now you're ready to have a little fun and get to know Ally & her vampires. A late night call to help a friend turns into a stranger than strange adventure where preternatural creatures and magic is real. Ally finds herself caught up in a fight for succession for the vampire throne and falling in love with five virile male vampires that slip into her heart. Parts of the story is very appealing and I really wanted to love the characters that make up the story. I think the setting and world would have a stronger build if the story was longer. I liked the fact that All is 38 and spunky. Most of the story needed a bit too much of a stretch for me to keep in line with it but it wasn't awful. I will say that if you're going to write a menage, you need to figure out a way to make each sex scene be different enough to stand out from one another. I had fun reading this story. It screamed cookie-cutter but I didn't let that stop me from trying it out.

Here's my honesty. I did not fall in love with this book instantly. I didn't even like the main character at first. I kept going though and it improved by the end of the book. There is a ton of sexy time in this one. I'll give it to Emma, she can write the sex scenes. We are introduced to a couple characters for the next book and they do interest me. I'll definitely give the next one a shot. So my advice for you is, as long as you don't mind the sex, give this a shot. Don't give up if you don't love it right off. I was pleasantly surprised once I got about half way through and the story really picked up.

It was ok....I was ok.... I didn't love it,I didn't hate it...I say at times when at the beginning of the story when Ally ( which I love a 100% over Allianna) that name just felt needlessly long) unlike this story which felt way too short.. that my point had been( sorry for digressing) even when Ally is acting a bit TSTL wandering into a bar late at night alone surrounded by a bunch of strange men armed only w/keys,cellphone and a lot of snarky wit,I wanted to like her because she was funny as hell, sadly that wasn't enough for me..... Ally is good hearted and intelligent and funny but since the author knew they weren't going to give us a lot of story, they moved really really fast and while I can't say it felt rushed per say , sex came in way to fast and I don't feel the characters fit the story they deserved, and neither did we...Supposedly Ally only got to spend and hour w/each guy and then an hour or soo in between but even w/her sneaking off and training her time seemed to fly by faster than it should have...I spike have loved more build up between them soo she and us could have really gotten to know them and relied a little less on Instagram love/lust and a 100 % use of the p word, sheath and core ,center are better during a sex scene unless your going for something gritty or raw or during rough and angry sex or dirty talk otherwise it's just rather jarring and to me further brings down the quality of a book that already feels rather rushed and short on time....I really loved the idea that Ally was a writer and she was living out a fantasy and personally if I ever write out my own story ideas even if I'm the only one who ever reads them that will be a BIG part of why I do,as a way to live out my own fantasy ...I think that's a brilliant idea to have in a story, I just wish we could have had a better chance to get to know the characters and it hadn't ended right after she accomplishes what she has to do...I personally dislike a book that end right after the MC's become a couple or in this case a harem..Soo not bad but could have been soo soo much better...If you like reverse give it a try,if you have KU definitely do...Gotta love a story where a woman get this much romantic and sexual attention ...Ok, all of it ;)Sorry,, I'm a little bitter over a short story I was led to believe was a "reverse harem story " , when really it was a m/m/m/f, sorry but it's not a reverse harem is the woman isn't getting ALL the attention to herself, if the men are booting themselves w/out her ? What's the point? And if she's having to share ,they aren't completely hers...Sorry, but I hate being blindsided like that...Thank you Ms.Dawn

Loved the first book in this new series by Emma Dawn! This book focuses on Ally, a strong independent woman (I liked that she wasn't in her late teens/early twenties, that she was older and more mature/better perspective on life) being thrown into the supernatural world without a choice. Ally comes to the rescue of her best friend Cassie and her world is turned upside down. Ally is thrust into the vampire world and has a week to pick a mate and go up against the strong, manipulative Queen. I really connected with Ally, that she was putting her and the guys lives before hers, she wasn't selfish, and she had a few tricks up her sleeve that kept the pages turning and got me to gasp a couple times while reading. I loved that she kept comparing her life to one of her stories, made me giggle quite a few times. Emma did a good job of not giving up the whole story/making it predictable, but that made it frustrating for Ally, since she was kept in the dark for most things until it was kinda too late.I loved the mates we get to learn more about throughout the week (I thought it was awesome she took a drink that allowed her to not sleep/allowed her the chance to meet and let things happen with the guys). I definitely had a couple favorites, but I could see why Ally felt the way she did. They are all so different and there were some good twists and turns with them that made it interesting. The sexy scenes were pretty hot FYI, especially in the shower haha ;)I thought this book could have used some more battle scenes/some more scenes showing Ally learning to fight, but that wasn't really Ally's style. She was a problem solver/find the loophole kind of fighter. I would definitely recommend this series, can't wait to see where Emma takes us with the different harems. One critique I have is that we don't get to see much after the final battle, kinda ends abruptly. I wanted to know what happened to the characters at the end, get a little of an epilogue. I am guessing that we will see little cameos from the group in the future books. It would be pretty epic if the 4 different harems come together to go against something at the end of the series....

Pretty GoodThis was pretty good, but could be better. I would give it 3.5 stars, but I would dip an author by rounding down. So, I always read Shannons urban fantasy books thinking if she added more erotica and passion into her books, she would be on my top 5 writers list. So hearing she was giving us a reverse harem erotica story really had me excited. The problem is she went too far that way. I would say around 90% of the story was sex. I think anything over 50% makes it become tedious and boring. So time was skipping ahead in a weird way that threw me. She had a sex session with two of her men and a day and a half went by. They guy could only come once, so it wasn't any marathon sessions going on. I was would have preferred for the author to have given us more word building and intrigue that she is so good at. Let us get to know these guys and all their interactions better too I could then buy deriving them after only sleeping with each one once, but that took a week to do when she isn't sleeping or eating. Just really weird. This author really could have done so much better. It needed more meat and story to fill in that time. Then the book wouldn't have been overwhelmed by sex and the connections would have been stronger and more understandable. Oh Nd on a mission or edit note... her first sex encounter had him taking off her panties one moment, then they were back for a bit, then gone again. It was really throwing me off when reading it. So I will read more, as this is Shannon Mayor here and I read everything g she writes, but I hope she learns to mix both her styles up more. More passion and Erotica in her urban fantasy and more urban fantasy and story in her erotica.

Harem of Fangs is a Reverse Harem book by Emma Dawn set in the world of vampires. Ally, a successful novelist, takes a late night night SOS call from her best friend. When she gets to the bar to pick her friend up, she encounters an aggressive group of men, one with interesting ideas of what Ally should do for/to him. Instead Ally gives him what he deserves. However, these aren't normal men and she shouldn't have been able to resist them. They are vampires and Ally soon finds herself in their world challenging for the position of Queen. She has been given a group of 5 men to choose a consort from and will enter into a life or death battle with the current vampire queen. Ally meets the men and "samples" them. Preacher, Wick, Celt, King and Spartan. She feels equally for all and is torn. If she wins the challenge, the men that she doesn't choose will die, and if she loses, they will all die. She has little chance of winning, but if she's going to die in a few days at least she gets lots of sex first. This book was disappointing to me. As a huge fan of the genre I have come to expect more. There was very little story development, very little world building, and almost no character development. It was more a vehicle for sex scenes than a story. The first half of the book was one sex scene after another, no conversation. So much sex that I started skimming out of boredom. That has never happened before. The second half was much better, but still not enough. There was a good concept here, but the plot was never expanded on. The consort twist proves that the author has a creative imagination. Hopefully, the next book will showcase her story creativity more.

I was up late when this book was electronically delivered to my kindle. I felt like a good read and delved right in. Kind of glad I did as it was not quite what I was expecting. The main character, Allianna is recovering from the shock and pain of a cheating fiancé but is finally getting her life back together; she's lost that bit of weight that has been a companion for years unaccounted, she's trying new things and becoming confident and sassy. Ally is a writer with a fast approaching deadline. But all this is put on hold when her best friend texts late at night asking for a lift from a nightclub. When Ally gets there, she not only finds her friend but also vampires. These vampires are sexy but are not good news. Thankfully these vamps are not the ones that Ally is destined for.I am fast becoming addicted to RH books; more than one sexy man may not be in store for me in real life but I will damn well enjoy reading about them. Except I did not overly enjoy this RH book. Too much sex and not enough storyline for me. Ally is refreshing in that she is older than the usual heroine in these type of tales. On more than one occasion she says that she is "No Virgin" and I love that. But I was not so keen about the part where she is more than happy to jump straight into bed with... not one, not two, not even three but five guys. Okay, before you get excited, it does not happen with all five all at once - except for that one time, which may or may not be near the end.If you like RH books that are more erotica than plot then this one might be for you.

Maybe next time.Man this was bad. Like really bad. I gave 2 stars because I finished it. I almost didn't make it passed chapter 2 it's full of cliches while the author is making fun of cliches. Everything was super rushed but at the same time trying to read it was exhausting. I hate it when Authors tell tell tell but never show. I'm actually totally ok with insta love or lust but there was no conversation between her and the men it just jumps to the sex and the it's very vanilla sex at that. I mean you'd think sex with vampires would be hot but nope apparently not. It does get better near the end but not enough to make up for that beginning. I understand RH is a relatively new genre with few Authors but I personally would have been ok skipping this book there are much better books out there. I guess on a positive note I actually did like Ally she's feisty and can take care of herself which is something I always appreciate in my heroine.

An exquisite exploration into a reverse haremThis is my first experience with a reverse harem book, so I was alittle dubious however I was pleasantly surprised. Emma dawn created an intriguing world surrounding a female character that breaks the norm. Ally is a single author living with her kid sister. Having lost all faith in men after she found out her ex was sleeping around on her. She is passionately protective of those in her life and that is what gets her into trouble. Coming to the aid of her best friend she finds herself being dragged into the world of the supernatural. Forced to fight the evil vampire queen and surrounded by 5 equally gorgeous men who wish to become her mate, her chosen one. This book had a great storyline and just the right amount of sexual explicit to captivate the reader. A must read.

I borrowed this book via KU.So I was really hyped to read this book because it was supposed to be alittle smutter than some other RH novels I read. Which was definitely true. It was hot right off the back. The details lacked sometimes and I feel as of things could have went further with their story since the next one is about the wolves. I would have preferred to know more about her past. I would also have liked to read about when they all became one or how her kingdom turned out. I mean she only went to 5 places in the whole castle and it was supposed to be hugeeee. The smut was good, the romance was "love at first sight" and she basically flung her self at them with barely any questions asked. I liked how she treated Malcolm though. He got a choice and she didn't make him do anything he didn't want to.Overall it was a good read

Ally is such strong female lead.💚 I like that she's a older character, who isn't afraid to speak her mind and doesn't take crap from anyone. Even in the most dangerous situations, you can count on her sarcasm to never let you down. I couldn't help but laugh.😂 She's a breath of fresh air, sharp and witty. There's a goodness that radiates from her that hasn't been seen in a long time. ✨You can't help but get swept away by how Preacher, Wick, King, Celt, and Spartan, worship not just her body but every part of her.🔥 Each of the guys we met I loved even Malcolm... yes he was so ridiculous when he first met Ally but he grew on me. I'm curious to see where his story goes and if we will get the chance to read it.📚Harem of Fangs was about love, family, loyalty, forgiviness and hope. About having choice in a world where your freedom didn't matter. A tear jerker indeed.👏🏽😩

Loved her in the first few chapters... By the time she met the men, the MC changed so much she became little more than a limpet sex toy with the thought process of one too. Everything but the sex felt rushed and skipped over. All the drama and tragedy and uncertainty was resolved with sex, so that it became repetitive and tedious. So I leafed over it most of the time. The men were almost interchangeable and one, or two, dimensional. The man that left and his actions / decisions / etc. read convoluted and stupid at best. Would have loved it if she stayed as spunky and practical and pragmatic as in the first chapter. And her actions and decisions were thought over / realistic / constant. All in all, a breezy and unemotional (for me) read.

I was worried. I'll admit. Amazon was pushing this pretty hard and my first inclination is "overblown" and "not gonna be worth it, right?"WrongI love being wrong when it comes to good books. Here we have a standalone book, lovely amount of smut, a 38 year old heroine (NOT A 15 YEAR OLD WHO DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW OMG), and she makes up her own damn mind. It was the stuff that a month of sub-par, terrible, and boring books were made of building up to that kind of payoff. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is my personal philosophy of reserving 5-star reviews for life-changing / i could die happy / this author must be descended from angels books. Also, guys, it's standalone. Part of a series, but no cliffhanger which made my freaking week.

Great reverse harem story First of all, I want to thank the author for the first paragraph! It was spot on and as an amateur writer currently in a block it sung to me. I loved all the guys, they were great and adorable for big bad vampires. My only critic would be how quickly the romance and sexual nature progresses but then I've got a little complacent with slow burn reverse harem. The overall action felt a little weak but the steam and everything else was intensely good. It was a nice story with a HEA ending so no torturous cliffhangers. I really look forward to the next instalment.

A harem of sexy vampires...can it get any better?!?!Loved this book! It was the first book of Emma Dawn's that I've read, but it sure won't be the last! It was a fantastic RH story. Ally is lured to a bar to pick up her friend Cassie, when both are kidnapped by a group of vampires. She's a candidate to be come the new queen, but must kill the current queen and pick a mate to do so. It's hard to choose when she's presented with five of the hottest guys she's ever seen. Ally has a big challenge and choice ahead of her. Have to read it to see what she does. It's awesome!Super excited to read the next one!

2.5Here is the issue: I like harem. It's the reason why I decided to read this book, and honestly I was expecting a great deal. It's not me trying to be rude, but it fell short for me. I feel like there were so many things that were left unexplained, more world to build. (For example, one of them could read minds, what could the others do? Could they do anything at all? Why Preacher did have a skill in the first place?). I also didn't like how things happened: the whole Malcom thing was weird, the final fight was very meh. I feel more excited about the little sister part of the story that we haven't even seen yet.

Shocked!!!I was very shocked with my reaction to this book, it was just better than I expected. This was definitely the first harem book I've read and it was good! I warn you the first part of the book threw me off a little, but it just really fits her character. It was funny and entertaining during the whole book, with about 75% being about sex which is expected with five dudes. And even with that much sex there was still a plot and end goal in the book, so not just sex for no reason. But overall this was a very fun quick read and I would recommend

I was not sure what to expect when I first started this book, but it was even better than I expected.Allianna is a paranormal author, she gets a text from her friend to pick her up from a bar!! When she gets there her friend is injured and Allianna is capturedShe learns that she has to pick 1 of the five brothers and she has to defeat the vampire queen!Well written with scorching sexy scenes, humour, tenderness and romance, I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to harem of wolves

I found the story itself to be rather interesting, the idea of power shift between the vampire queens was a good one and it all could make for a great book. But all the sex was kind of in the way of the plot development. Not that it wasn't, um, nice, but there was just too much of it. It made me feel impatient to get to some action that does not involve sex and see how the story progresses. Probably won't read the second book.

Started slowI almost did not read this past the first few chapters. It seemed like just a sex book with little plot & character development. However, I have read other books by this author so plugged along with the read. Glad I did, the sex slowed down & you got to know the characters. Still would’ve liked more plot & it wasn’t fully formed, left many questions. With 5 men it still did not get the depth I prefer (pun intended)

Loved it!Another different concept that was great! I really liked Ally and that she was older, strong and was not scared of her sexuality. I liked the story of the queen B$&ch! All of the guys were amazing especially Spartan I always love the dark male with good and bad sides. The ending was good too. Can't wait to read about Casie and the wolves and hear more about Ally and her vampires!
