Julian and Cheryl have a seemingly perfect marriage. Yet within their inner circle, many women covet Julian, and men covet Cheryl. Cheryl has the life and the husband that every women covets. She lives in a massive mansion, has access to immense wealth, and can have absolutely anything her heart desires. She wants no one or nothing to intervene in her perfect life with her husband. Julian is extremely good-looking. Cheryl is concerned that every woman feels the same way she does—Julian is the best-looking man she has ever laid her eyes on. If a woman cannot resist his looks—which is highly unlikely—Julian is also extremely wealthy, powerful, and charming. He is a multi-billionaire. He is a member of an elite secret society. He is a black-belt martial artist. His charisma emanates off him like a force field. Can their marriage stay strong, or will the coveting of others disintegrate their trust and love for each other?...

DNF ....really bad writing
What a load of unrealistic tripe! Now, I like nice things. I like reading about nice things. What I don't like is a four book arc where a reader shoves every designer bauble and name drops every high end luxury item down our throat! Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the story in a detached sort of way, like reading just to see where the shallow heroine ends up in this book of advertisements for a luxury lifestyle! It was told in a matter of fact way, that it doesn't read so much as fiction, but more like a diary of thoughts and memories, with a lot of designer items thrown in the story. The biggest flaw in this is that the story line needs continuity - there are some inconsistencies - as in the first book the hero has 10 inches of steel, but yet, in the last book, he seems to have dropped off 2 inches, making his steel only eight inches! WTF? If you are going to have sex in a book and take the time to write constantly about the length of a man's penis, please take the time to remember how big he is!!! The heroine needs to be rewritten to show more depth. Cheri came across like the shallow bitch and I couldn't understand why all those men wanted her (other than beauty)! I know Julian says she had substance but the writer never showed it in any of the books. This last book had the heroine, Cheri, abducted again and raped. UGH! Why? She is a married mother of a toddler and I find it very hard to believe that all those alpha billionaires wanted her that much, when they could have BOUGHT someone virginal and more worthy. I'm sorry but I just don't get the fascination with the heroine, however, I loved Julian and for that character, I will give the book two stars!
